Hi Memsaab, Oh no not paul newman. It’s so sad. I just wanted to respond to your comment. I am glad that you got the book and love it as much as I do. But, I was wondering which edition did you get? Because if it’s the newest one, (I think is came out in 2001), does it talk about indian cinema up until the 2000’s? Thanks
Hi Stella, I know :-( I love Paul Newman. He went to the same college I did (not at the same time!), and spent a year there directing a play just before I started. I did see him once or twice on campus after that, and he was just as gorgeous in person. And what a very generous person too.
I got the second edition of the Indian Cinema book (the orange cover)—I didn’t even see any copies of the later one when I was trawling around for it.
:(( I love him too :(
He’s the one celebrity whose death made me tear up. I love that man.
Yes, me too. He was a great human being as well as actor. Poor Joanne and their kids :-(
R.I.P. to an incredibly handsome, incredibly talented man.
:((
I know he was gorgeous in all his movies, but I loved him in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. That remains my all time favorite movie of his.
RIP Paul Newman.
Indiequill wrote a lovely post on her ten favorite Paul Newman films/roles. There’s a link to her blog in my sidebar.
